Cruise Ships

Balaena is strategically located at key points across the UK coastline including the North Sea, Irish Sea, English Channel, and the gateway to the Mediterranean providing full dry docking and maintenance services to medium-sized cruise vessels.

Recent cruise projects include Fred. Olsen vessels at both Tyne and Falmouth, Bolette, the largest cruise ship to visit Falmouth in over 60 years, and Balmoral at Tyne.

At Birkenhead, adjacent to Liverpool Cruise Terminal, Balaena aims to establish a centre of excellence for cruise ship repair, building on landmark visits such as Fred. Olsen’s Borealis.
