Balaena Falmouth Docks: What is actually being proposed?

What's actually going on at Falmouth Docks?

There’s been a lot said about the proposed development in our Falmouth yard over the past few weeks. So we wanted to explain, simply, what we’re proposing and why.

Falmouth has been a working port for centuries, but some of the infrastructure behind the dock gates is ageing and needs significant investment.

The plans are about securing the future of the docks: repairing ageing wharfs, improving access for the vessels we support and preparing Falmouth for future industries such as floating offshore wind.

This shouldn’t be a choice between a working dockyard and the environment around it. It’s about making sure both have a future.
